Disaster Meets Mystery....

That last post was the last anyone heard from Jesse or Randy... they met to do the first episode of season 3 at a secret location, at some new studio, straight out of podcast finishing school.  They transfered the files to corporate and were never heard from again.  Corporate has used countless resources to track them down.  All they know is what they heard from that fateful last day in the studio.  Something went wrong, there was a fire, some chaos, and then the tape shut off.  Corporate has no idea where this was recorded, where the boys took off to, IF they're even alive still, and what will become of DCW.  We apologize for the shock and tragedy of such a thing, but we are working to get the legal rights, through corporate, to air that final episode before the disappearance.  Maybe there are some clues not yet realized in that broadcast that will lead to the discovery of Randy and Jesse's fates.  For now... we say goodbye... until we hear something new.  We'll keep you posted.  - DCW

Another Break....

Well folks, another season of Dirty Cabin Weekly has come and gone.  Randy is being shipped off to Texas for a month and the we are all eagerly awaiting his return and the return of the show.  Season 3 promises to be.... well... another season.  Thanks for everyone who tunes in and listens, and Happy New Year!!!  See ya next year - DCW

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!

The new season of DCW picks up where the listener was left off, except now there is a disgruntled member on the crew. Demands are high and I'm curious to see how this plays out. Will Jesse get his 12 pack of beer and 4 yearly birthday parties? Will he be shitcanned by corporate? I'll have to stay tuned. The comeback episode brought the listeners a great birthing story, alien rape, and we find out that Randy receives a kickback from one of the sponsers. Listeners are also made aware of charity work in the off season. Dirty cabiners have been calling baseball games for the seeing impaired. Nice way to give back to the community! Sending Meeks to the park with an infant and a puppy is a great sociological experiment, plus it will get him laid. Thank you for the tribute to Seamus. He was a good cat. - Log

The Return Of The Show!!!

4 MORE CRUISES!!!!

Yes that's right folks.  4 more cruises and I am done with this chapter in my life.  It has been a strange and trying and sometimes exciting experience, but I am looking forward to getting home and resuming my 'normal' life.  DCW will be back in just over 19 days!  Jesse and I have been in constant communication discussing the future of DCW and it is looking both bright and exciting.  Hopefully corporate will endorse the show's continuation and we will all have our 'jobs' when I get home.  Are you all just waiting on the edge of your seats or what??  Keep checking in over the coming weeks for updates and a possible comeback date for the show.  Thanks for all the continued support and thoughts while I have been at sea.  I'm looking forward to getting my land-legs back and we'll see ya soon! - Randy

Another Randy Update/ America....Fuck Yeah!

So I have pretty much fully adjusted to life on the ship now.  With the exception of playing the SAME songs every night and the crowds and shows all running together into a mesh of pure boredom, the rest of it has become a temporary home for me.  I have somewhere around 65 days left, not that i'm counting.  :)  I have made tons of great friends that i will remember and try and keep in touch with for the rest of my life.  I have been drinking more than ever, but balancing that off with a healthy diet and lots of exercise.  Not too much else to do during the day but get in the gym.  And not too much to do at night besides drink.  It's all about balance.  Jesse has been sending me emails with the most brilliant rants and i hope to share some of my favorites on the show when i return.  I hope some of you are actually checking in from time to time and that we can get the show back up and running the instant i am home.  We port in Galveston, TX .  We do 2 five day cruises and a 4 day cruise in a 2 week cycle and start all over again, porting in TX between.  On the 5 day cruises we go to Progresso, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico, and on the 4 day just Cozumel.  My favorite spot is a bar called the No Name Bar in Cozumel.  They have a pool and a dock you can jump into the ocean from.  Clear blue beautiful Carribean ocean.  ahhhhh....The No Name Bar also has a wall you can jump from that is about 15 feet up and fun as hell.  It is a small miracle that neither myself nor any of my drunken ship mates have killed themselves yet, but until then it's a blast.  Well, that's about all for now.  I hope everyone is well and happy and counting the days until the return of DCW!  - Randy

It's Me Again!!!

So - update time.  I've been out here exactly one month now.  I have good days and bad days.  Mostly good, of course.  But i miss my home and my friends and my family and doing DCW.  It's hard to believe i still have 3 1/2 more months of this.  The shows are going well.  We have a particularly rowdy bunch on the boat this trip.  Several bachelorette parties and a massive bachelor party with like 40 guys.  Together they make one hell of an audience every night.  We played until 1:30 AM last night and got payed several hundred dollars to play 2 AC/DC songs we had never played before.  Of course we obliged and pulled them off pretty well....minus a couple of hiccups not too bad.  I have passed all of my training courses and tests and am proud to say i am well versed in ship safety and crowd management.  I will check back in soon.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I miss you all and i can't wait to get back to the show and to my life in Nashvegas.  With tons of love and respect - Randy
